Children’s Dignity Forum (CDF) is a leading non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to advocating for the rights and welfare of children in Tanzania. Founded and registered in 2006 under the NGO Act No. 24 of 2002, CDF’s mission is to safeguard children’s rights, empower vulnerable communities, and tackle harmful practices such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and child marriages. With its headquarters in Dar es Salaam and field offices in Tarime District (Mara Region) and Mpwapwa District (Dodoma Region), CDF reaches communities across the country to protect and empower children, especially girls.
Our programs are designed to promote education, health, and economic rights, aiming for a future in which every child can thrive, free from violence, exploitation, and harmful practices. We are committed to building a society where children’s voices are heard, their rights are respected, and they are empowered to contribute to the development of their communities.
